Hint 1 - Every possible answer is a Multiple of 9...is that
enough for you???
Any 2 digit number can be expressed as x * 10 + y. For 62 a=6, b=2. Now
the puzzler requests that we subtract the sum of x and y from the
number, x * 10 + y - (x + y), which becomes x * 9 if you reduce it. So
it is a multiple of 9.
Hint 2 - Every time you start again the symbol changes...
