AHMEDABAD: Seven members of a notorious gang, wanted in connection with several murders and other criminal cases in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, were arrested by police here yesterday while they were planning to commit a bank robbery in Rajkot.

Two pistols, three country-made revolvers, knives and two cars were seized from the gang members from their hide-out in Amaraiwadi area of the city, joint commissioner of police M K Tandon told PTI.

Tandon said the gang was planning to commit a bank robbery in Rajkot and were getting some fake number plates made for their cars when it was busted by the police.
