Rs 1.27 lakhs stolen Sunday, May 20, 2001

Ahmedabad May 19:
An amount of Rs 1.27 lakh was stolen from the dickey of a scooter belonging to Mr Yogendra B Gandhi, a resident of Bhairavnath Park, Maninagar on Friday afternoon.

Mr Gandhi had parked his scooter near General Co-operative Bank, Bhairavnath Road and went away for five minutes when some unknown person opened the dickey and took away the money. Maninagar police station is investigating the case.
