Police seize IMFL, beer Monday, December 10, 2001

AHMEDABAD: The Naroda police seized a truck carrying 471 crates of Indian Made Foreign Liquor and beer near the GIDC here on Saturday.

Acting on a tip-off from head constable Devjibhai and constable Sureshbhai, inspector K K Maisurwala and his team seized the truck (GJ 9V 3040) and recovered 363 crates of IMFL and 108 crates of beer - all valued at Rs 9.33 lakh. However, the carriers of the consignment managed to escape.
