Vaghela hears people's woes at Passport Office Wednesday, July 4, 2001

AHMEDABAD: Former chief minister and Member of Parliament Shankersinh Vaghela paid a surprise visit to the Regional Passport Office here on Monday with his partymen and listened to people's woes.

Vaghela, accompanied by MP Pravin Rashtrapal, former minister Girish Parmar and others demanded that the RPO should have at least a parking space and other facilities for people's convenience.

They also met passport officer B B Swain and put representations before him. Earlier, Union minister Vallabh Kathiria had paid a similar visit to the RPO to address the problems public faced there.
