Fake notes confiscated Friday, June 22, 2001

Amraiwadi police confiscated as many as 258 fake currency notes of Rs 50 denomination from Ramesh H Patel, 32, when on Wednesday night they raided his residence at Mahalaxmi Society, Soni Ni Chali, Odhav on Wednesday night.

Sources said that the raid was conducted on a tip off given to a police constable from some unidentified source.
