AHMEDABAD: The Eklavya Education Foundation has announced the names of the four winners of the Eklavya Excellent Educator Awards 2001.

Among them Ankur School founder Freny Desai has received the Lifetime Achievement Award while Higher Secondary School for the Blind principal Jasubhai Kavi received Eklavya Excellent Institution Builder Award. Science and Maths teacher at F D High School for boys Mohammed Ibrahim Shaikh and Narendra Pandya received the Young Educator Award and Excellent Educator Award respectively.

The winners will get a cash prize, a trophy and a citation on September 5 _ Teacher's Day. Chinmaya Vision director Swamini Vimalananda will be the chief guest at the function.
