Minor tremor felt in Bhuj Sunday, November 25, 2001

NEW DELHI: An earthquake of slight intensity was felt in the Bhuj region of Gujarat early Saturday morning, the meteorological department said here.

The quake, measuring 4.2 on the Ritcher scale, had its epicentre at latitude 23.6 degree North and longitude 70.3 degree East and was recorded at 0813 hours, it said.

Kutch district authorities said no loss of any kind was has so far been reported from anywhere.
