Hospital in state of preparedness Friday, December 14, 2001

The Ahmedabad Civil Hospital has been put in a state of preparedness to handle any eventuality in wake of the red alert sounded in the state following the terrorist attacks on Parliament on Thursday.

Officials in the hospital informed that emergency staff had been put on alert, the emergency ward readied, medicine stocks refurbished and a few special rooms set aside in case of any VIP injury.
