Jeep driver dies in mishap near Dabhan
Jeep driver identified as Tukaram Ramesh of Vadodara and a cow were killed on the spot and two occupants of the jeep injured near Dabhan village, five km from here on NH 8 on Wednesday following collision between the jeep and a tempo. The injured were taken to hospital.

Man killed by brother
NADIAD: Within past eight days, three gruesome murders, all by brother in each case, were reported in Kheda district _the latest one from Gothaj village in Mehmdavad taluka. Swift action by Kheda town senior PSI S G Rana solved the mystery in 12 hours. On October 28,
Melabhai Vaghari of Gothaj village lodged a police complaint that he was beaten up by his two elder brothers Karabhai and Rameshbhai over the issue of preserving hens and cocks. On October 29, police found his body near Gothaj. Meanwhile, the victim's wife Kailasben complained against her brother-in-law Melabhai for killing her husband. Post-mortem report showed the cause of death due to broken spinal cord. The police probed further and then arrested Melabhai Dahyabhai Vaghari who confessed he killed his brother Karabhai by giving a fatal blow with short thick stick.
